I'm not sure where to put this but I'm so excited for her, though she doesnt seem to entirely get it... I bought a potty for dd a week ago since she loves visiting me in the bathroom and now she'd have a place to sit and practice doing what I do. So the first day I got it she peed in it that night, then again last night and again this morning!!!:

I had wanted to do EC with her when she was younger but just didn't have the ability to do it then with so much going on. Now that she can walk I figured now was as good a time as any, and what do ya know, she likes sitting there and seems like she startin to figure out what its for!!!

Now I'm just wishing that stores had little potties for the munchkins so I wouldn't have to keep a diaper on her or try putting her on the big potty seat.

Anyone else get there child to potty by example? Or at such a young age (aside from EC)?

You can get very little pots at babies r us. Made of molded plastic and easy to sit on. The ec forum will have all the details. My children both have used the toilet from a very young age, until recently it was common for kids to be out of diapers before two. Good luck with your approach.
