if one of your children was in a situation where they were being abused and neglected in every way imaginable? Would you risk legal ramifications to protect them?
Mama to DD (12.2005), DS1 (01.2009), DS2 (04.28.2013) with DH 04.10.13!!
nope i wouldnt.
i wouldnt do anything illegal because my child would have to pay for it. esp. if the other party was smart and had money on their side.
i would take the legal route and get the smartest lawyer with the best experience.
however doing either is not a solution.
just being in that position SUCKS!!!
i have a lot of friends in this situation - and it sucks, sucks, sucks... because the legal system here (esp. in some states) are soooo corrupt and not equal.
if you are poor and your family is poor - or rather doing ok without extra cash - it just SUCKS!!!!
some courts still buy into the parent alienation syndrome.
honestly i am not sure what i would do. but since i am in california i'd probably choose the legal route. unless i was savvy enough to disappear and 'cease to exist' with my child/children.
