I am in a bit of a slump and was looking for some good, positive reads to help me fall in love with parenting again. I've read most of the AP books out there, and I have a few blogs I love, but I'm looking for some fresh reads (or old ones I haven't seen!).

AP if possible, I'm not looking for advice on how I need to go drink with the girls or spank my kids more or whatever.

Preferably secular or pagan, but religious ones that are not proselytizing will be fine, too. I'm pretty open minded. smile.gif

Idk if it's just parenting burn out in general, or just long term stress after ppd, but I need some inspiration. TIA!

I really like this blog: http://www.mamaeve.com/

Her posts are often refreshing and unique while also being AP-friendly.

autobiographies. esp. adults writing about their parents.

my role model is john lennon's mom who wasnt even around him. but you should see how gently and how movingly he writes about her.
