We aren't that picky about mealtime generally, but Thanksgiving is slightly more formal. The kids usually can ask to be excused whenever they're done eating, but on Thanksgiving everyone stays around the table the whole time.

Also, no electronics. We hang out with family and visit with them.

Do you have any special rules for Thanksgiving?

Kind of late on this.  I don't think we have any special rules that aren't already in place any other night.  I come from a culture that puts a pretty big emphasis on eating "properly" at the table every night, and I guess I've passed that down to the kids so far.  My DH, on the other hand, was more casual about eating when he was growing up.  He will often leave the table early on typical nights.  So I guess him staying until everyone is finished is a "special" thing.
