What are you feelings on staying up for the New Years holiday? At what age is it OK?
dd is a night owl. midnight is when she goes to bed. if not later.
so my equivalent would be to wake up at 6 am to see the sunrise or something like that. hard for dd to do.
but yes when dd used to go to school and maintain an earlier bedtime - she did stay up on new years because during the holidays she'd go back to being a nightowl.
sorry not really helpful.
however i will say my 11 year old is SOOOOOOO different than her 9 year old self. she does more stuff than even a regular 11 year old is allowed to do.
