Question Can single women raise a boy to a good man

I've had the awesome responsibility of raising a son and a daughter, as a single parent, I've met many men that were raised by women. There does seem to be a big difference in the men that were raised without a positive male relationship and those that are not. It seemed that many of the men, that were raised by women, seem to lack some of the attributes, that I would expect in a man, maybe it is me. Ideally, two people can teach more and share more than one. Plus men think differently, so I expect women will miss some lessons, because we don't understand.

I recall listening to a radio show and one of the radio personalities made the statement. It takes a man to teach a man how to be a man. So, if I am a single mother, and his dad is not involved what am I to do?

I know several women that have raised great men. Let share our stories and help others.
