for someone else on another bb who asked for it. I couldn't find much on askdrsears.com but I gave them what I could find. Any other websites? I checked Dr Gordon's but didn't find anything either

Mom of a 7 yr old, 4 yr old, and 1 yr old. Wow. How did that happen?

In his book, "Listening to your baby," Dr. Gordon states that, in his opinion, breastfeeding and the family bed (not letting baby CIO) would prevent most cases of SIDS.

I don't know where to find the info, but what I read (of course I don't remember where...) is that crying elevates body temp, and that too high a body temp has been linked to SIDS.

hth,
