The care instructions for washing the cover of the Marathon say hand wash only, no machine washing. Has anyone tried machine washing the cover on a gentle cycle? Any good or bad experiences one way or the other?

TIA!

Ditto. I wash our roundabout cover in the wash often. No problems.

I've washed our (denim) Roundabout cover many times - cold, hang dry - no problems. Don't know if the Marathon is different - maybe it's a fabric thing?

I didn't want to take the chance of machine washing so I washed our Marathon cover by hand. It came out beautifully clean. I think it would probably be okay to wash on gentle, especially if you have a front loader. The main thing to remember is DON'T DRY IT IN THE DYER!

Thanks all! I do have a front loader so I think I'll try washing it on an ultra gentle cycle and hanging to dry.
