I am 11 weeks along with my second. My daughter will be 5 in September.
My sister and I fought like cats and my childhood was pretty unhappy because of it.
I wasn't really sure I wanted two kids, because of that. It affected me THAT much. (Well, that AND the third degree laceration). But here I am!
For those of you who have two, what are some tips for maintaining a peaceful family? I already have the book Siblings Without Rivalry, that has some good stuff in it. Beyond listening to and validating her feelings, what else do I need to be sure I do/don't do?
