Now that #3 is on the way, soon, I am beginning to feel like I need a handbook for parenting.

I really have no idea what I am doing, and I am so dizzy by all the activity of having small children that I also dont have a functioning brain cell with which to think!

Things like - whats developmentally appropriate
HOW to find a school, homeschool cirriculum, etc
WHEN to talk to them about drugs, sex, etc
HOW to talk to them about drugs sex, etc...

Does such a book exist?

Someone needs to write a parenting dictionary, really....

I feel like I should be doing more "deliberate parenting" but I am so busy changind diapers, cleaning up pee on the floor, saving the cat from the toddler, cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc-that I am so not up to par with what I *thought* a good parent would be.

I was under the impression that our family would have a "mantra" and mabye even a family "handbook" with all our house rules, chores, recepies, etc.

Am I thinking of the supermom myth?

Seriously between all the forums there's tons of good information here and lots of support too.

Just one thing, your kids are so little. I wouldn't stress over sex and drugs just yet.
