Hi! I think we need another thread about our wonderful DH's!

I know this is often a place to vent, and believe me, it is not that my husband doesn't get on my nerves sometimes...but boy sometimes when I come here I am really struck by how lucky I am when I read some stories---I am in NO way saying I take any pleasure in other people's hardships I am just saying sometimes I read certain things and I am like, wow, I am so fortunate to have the husband I have!!

He is amazing, and wonderful, and kind and funny and sexy as hell!

My husband has stood behind me 100% in ALL things concerning homebirth, non-vax, GD, veganism, unschooling and breastfeeding--especially extended breastfeeding (hopefully!!!) He has been my BIGGEST advocate in all these things, despite being raised VERY mainstream ---I was too, but I became way crunchier, way before meeting him and *corrupted him* :LOL

These past couple of weeks especially when I have been NOT comfortable physically ( I am 38 weeks) he has taken on almost all of the housework (even attempting to cook, but I am not THAT uncomfortable yet :LOL ) and has been SO great about everything!! I mean, I love him, that is why I married him--but I mean, he has REALLY come through in a way that impresses me SO much!!

Again, I am not saying he is Mr. Perfection...there are times where I get annoyed/upset, whatever...but wow, he is as close as they come I am telling you....

I just thought I would share because sometimes I feel like the partners/husbands get a bad wrap here (sometimes DESERVEDLY so) ...and I wanted to boast!!

Captain crunchy-

I know what you're saying. I am one of those ladies lucky enough to be blessed with an extremely supportive husband. He was also raised main stream catholic, but has been so supportive of the AP and NFL. He happily reads whatever I put in front of him and supports the things I think are important. Granted it isn't always peaches and cream, but that wouldn't be exciting if it was anyway. He gets up in the morning with the boys so I can get some time to myself. He always tells me how beautiful I am, even when I feel like a huge lard butt. He brings me flowers, and has let me go with my urge to adopt pets. He even puts up with my mom !! He has been so amazingly supportive after my miscarriage, even when I didn't know which way was up! In general, I love him so much, and he loves me so much, and I really like the person I am with him!! He is my very best friend in the world and I can be totally me with him!
