I have resolved to start doing 2 small things each day to show my DH that I love him... with the baby and work, we rarely have time alone and we've been going through a lot of stress lately.... we have *no* money at the moment so I can't buy him treats or presents (although I would love to get a few things), and I sometimes have a hard time coming up with ideas. What do you do (backrubs, emails...) to show your DP that you love him (or her)?

Cook his favorite meal.
Turn the channel to something he likes and watch it with him. Even when I want to watch something else.
Back massage.
Write a little note and leave it in the car or his wallet.
Send a sweet email.
Tell him to call his friends and insist that he goes somewhere with them.

...a 'nice' bottle of wine...
...arrange time out with his friends...
...mow the lawn...
...bake a dessert...
...initiate sex...
...bring him a book from the library...
...buy new socks or underwear...
...organize his dresser or closet for him...

I'm at home all day and usually take a shower in the afternoon. Today I wrote "I love you so much honey" on the steamy mirror when I was done. It faded by the time my husband got home from work so I'm hoping he'll see it after his shower steams it up tomorrow morning. I think he'll be pleasantly surprised.

...I often come home with a card for no reason other than to say I love you and appreciate all you do.

...I make DP a brown bag lunch everyday so she does not have to eat fast food on break.

...I found out how to make her mother's favorite recipe and cook it about once per month.

...Even though I do not have to get up in the mornings, I get up first to feed the animals and let the dog out so she can sleep an extra hour. She gets up at 6:30, but animals get up around 5:30. I know I can go back to sleep for a few hours, so I let her enjoy the extra hour of uninterrupted sleep.\

...I pick up all the dog poop in the yard b/c I know she hates it.

...She hates the grocery store and has not been in almost two years. I go every Sunday so that she does not have to.

...She is awful about scheduling doctor's appointments, so I do it for her. All she has to do is show up.

...Run bubble baths on days when she works from 8 am until 5 and has class from 6 until nine. She gets home around 10pm on those days and I have a pizza being delivered and a hot bath ready.
