Yeah, between a PL toddler and me, the poor toilet sees way too much action for me to justify flushing every time.

Somebody me! I can't stop eating these.

Yesterday I convinced my dh that my grandma would love a box of See's Candy for her birthday, just so I could go and get some dark molasses chips, dark chocolate covered raisins (they have fruit!), toffee-ettes, and dark pattie chocolate vanilla caramels. I can't wait until the baby is born so that I'll have an extra 700 breastfeeding calories to spend on chocolate.

Another one that DH finds funny - I use my Hypnobabies CDs as a sleep aid every night. Within a couple minutes of starting them I am out cold.

One more -

I do not care if my electric bill is high for the next two months. I plan to use my A/C as much as I need to be comfortable. I will NOT stress about using it (that will take a bit of work as we are pretty conservation-minded, but dammit I am going to try).

And hey, when did these smilies show up?? : : : : : :

I'm so with you on the AC! Earlier this month our heat was still coming on and now its been hot enough for the AC. I really feel for women who have to go through the entire summer pg! UGH!!!! I know I will cry when I see the electric bill - we also have a pool which makes it go up - but right now I can't deal!

- I agree with the AC, also I could care less about the water bill. I always feel so gross I shower at 2-3 times a day and having cady sitting in the kiddie pool makes her happy and passes the time.

Why, oh why, did you post that link? Was that *really* necessary?

And oh yeah on the flushing. Once I get in bed I go at least 3-4 times before I actually fall asleep, then 1-2 times during the night. I'm not wasting that much water!

I will, however, feel free to crank the AC to make up for it

What, we've all become saints in the last two weeks? Pictures of Getstating Perfection?

I think not

DD's birthday party (she's TWO!) was today, and half the people cancelled. I was secretly thrilled, because it meant we would have tons of leftover cake. We do. It won't last long.

I got so ticked off at peeing 3 drops every five minutes I started drinking tons and tons of water. I figured it isn't going to make me pee any more frequently, it's just going to make my trip feel more worthwhile. Actually not much of a confession, in that it's good for me, but that's some pretty backwards logic, and I was motivated solely by my irriation with the bathroom thing.

I think I have hemorrhoids, which I haven't before. They don't hurt or itch, but I always feel like something is hanging out and I'm never "done" in the bathroom.

I went to a baby shower yesterday. I started off virtuously with veggies and dip, then proceeded to consume luncheon meat, a piece of cake, two glasses of punch, a cup of regular coffee and a bag of chocolates.

The only thing I missed were the tequila shots...

Last week they threw a baby shower for us at DH's work... I got to take about a 1/3 of a large half-sheet cake home. And DH worked all weekend so...

I ate it.

Here's some more: I had a shower this past weekend and there are about four 1/2 eaten containers of ice cream. Plus there's toppings: hot fudge, caramel, heath pieces, whipped cream .... DH is trying to eat better, so I'm "stuck" with the leftovers! I'm not complaining so much. Yesterday I had about 4 bowls full!

~i'm SICK TO DEATH of people telling me how tiny i am. i know that. i heard all about it when i was pg with ds#1. the size of my belly means NOTHING about the size of the baby inside. after all...ds#1 was nearly 10lbs. ugh.

~yes i'm 36wks...YES I WANT TO HAVE THIS BABY NOW. no do not tell me how awful it is i want to have him early. i am DOING nothing except stating i hope he comes soon...its not like i'm performing a c-sect on myself geez.

~I hate it when people tell me they don't know *how i do it* working still. easy. I don't have a choice. I am tired and feel huge and miserable NO i dont *want* to be at work. why do you think i want to have him now??

~vaginal. just like with Caleb. not that its anyone else's business. (like everyone that finds out how big caleb was...) we had no clue he would be huge...so no one tried to convince me i couldn't do it...I could and did and i plan to again.

~I drink soda. a lot.

~I don't eat right. i'm lucky to get ONE decent meal a day.

~i forget to take my prenatals 6 days out of 7. I am trying to get into the habit but so far having no luck. i can go a couple of weeks remembering every day to take them and then a couple of weeks will go by before i realize its been awhile.

I feel like a crap mom and a crabby grouch now. this confessions thread didn't do much for me lol.

I made a big batch of garlic cheese biscuits this morning. You know, the ones like at Red Lobster, made with Bisquick. : DS ate one, DH ate two and I suspect the rest of them won't make it until dinner.

Prenatals? Ummm, yeah, they are on top of the fridge. Right now I much prefer the Flintstones Gummy vitamins I bought for DS.

I love my afternoon spoonful of icecream when it is so darn hot and there's no breeze.
I find myself wistfully sniffing my husband's beer or occasional glass of red wine -- since when does beer smell good? (This isn't any fancy schmancy beer, either.)
We haven't decided on a name yet, and rather than panic, I'm just growing comfortable thinking of her as "little one". She'll be the "little one" for quite some time, so that could really buy us some time. (kidding)

Heh, heh, I attribute my babies' healthy weight gain to my new addiction to Klondike bars! (What would YOU do for a Klondike bar?!!)

You haven't seen the spoon I use I guess it's all relative... I was never much of a snacker before, but my sweet tooth has just exploded and I feel like pregnancy turned me into an eating machine, so snacking on ice cream like this just seems like a big difference from pre-pg behavior.

And the beer one is just weird to me -- I agree, sort of weak as a "confession". I would say I actually disliked the way it smelled before, but now, some evenings I feel like just going to a calendar and counting the days before I'll have one. DH has reminded me I'm being silly at this point and there is very little risk from small amounts of booze at this stage of the pregnancy, so it's clearly more of a personal discipline thing than any rational 'preventive' behavior.

Mmmmm.....those look sooooo good! The day I saw them in the store I already had 2 packs of the Heath ones at home in the freezer...don't know where the sudden inhibition came from, but I didn't take any home!
