So how is everyone doing with their little bundle of joy? DD2 is now a month old. We're are still getting the breastfeeding act down. We saw a lactation consultant last week and she helped out a lot! We're battling the night time feedings. Both of us fall asleep and we never get anywhere. I dont remember what my bed feels like!

For a while in the beginning I was missing my Bailee more than ever. Erin's birth reminded me of what happened with my Bailee in the sense of being back in the same place but was different this time around. I miss my daughter so much but I am so happy that I have a little bundle of joy at home. Because of Bailee the doctors found out about my condition and we were able to have Erin.

How are siblings reacting? DS loves his little sister so much! It's so cute. She'll start to cry and he'll tell her "oh it's okay honey." Isn't that cute?

DD is three weeks old (today ) and we are doing great. Night sleeping is going well, still only getting a few hours in the night, though. DS really has taken this new baby a little personally and it has manifested in his sleeping patterns. And.... a little in toilet regression: But he loves his sister. He talks to her all the time. If I don't IMMEDIATELY feed her when she peeps, then he will actually try to pull my shirt up and by camisole down for me to feed her, actually saying, "I'll get it for Neva!" It's too cute. DH is probably having the roughest time adjusting and is taking his frustration with lack of sleep out on me Very short in how he speaks to me, which does NOT go over well, but that will pass, it did after #1 too. Just have to give it another couple weeks

It actually feels like she has been here forever, not just three weeks!

Ds is a week and 2 days. It has been pretty good so far. It is hard to have a 14 month old and a new born but it is fun at times. I find that everything is just doubly challenging. 2 diapers to change, etc... You should see me trying to breastfeed ds while trying to feed dd her cereal with my left hand (I'm right handed) : Sometimes I'm so busy that I forget to feed me. Anyone else doing that? I was wondering why I was dizzy and feeling lightheaded and then realized that DUH- it's 2pm and I haven't eaten anything since 7pm last night!: Dd is really starting to like ds- she was trying to put his pacifier in his mouth today. He was sleeping and di not appreciate her "help"

I'm also having the struggle of remembering to eat. And I'm feeling weird that I only use the bathroom like 2 times a day (versus 20 when pregnant!) I'm sufficiently hydrated! I guess the boy is just draining me!

Lochlan is 2 weeks old tomorrow and I'm finally starting to feel like a person again. The c-section really put a damper on things. But not nursing, fortunately. That has been wonderful!

Yep!! I feel like I've gotten a lot accomplished if I eat and shower before 1PM! Sometimes it's the hunger headaches that remind me I haven't eaten in a while!
