Too many! I put 3-4. It seems like more though because we already broke the bed down and are sleeping on the mattress on the floor. Every night it seems harder and harder to get up.

I put 2-3x a night. Not pregnant I get up at least once. I drink a lot of water at night. Especially between pee breaks! lol

Usually only once a night so far. I do wake up every hour or so because I'm not comfortable but I usually only get up once. I sometimes have a hard time going back to sleep if I get up so if I don't have to go really bad I just wait until next time I wake up and go then.

I'm not so bad on pee breaks, but I'm just plain waking a lot more than usual. I don't think I'm sleeping more than 60 minutes at a stretch.

I put 1-2 but there are always a few nights in between that are more like 3-4. I try to limit my fluid intake after 7pm and that helps. Of course that means I'm drinking SO much more during the day, that I'm usually in the restroom at least once an hour.

4 or more. But even when I am not pregnant, I wake up a lot to pee. The other week, I slept from 11pm to 6am. I almost died of shock, and I was so rested.

Jam 7, Peanut Butter 5, and Bread 2.

I said 1 - 2, but it's really a vicious cycle. Get up once to pee, then make a zombie beeline to the fridge to glug the organic chocolate milk. Nothing, no nothing, tastes so good at 2am.

Then get up to pee again at 4...

I have been not drinking at night and waking up parched but even with that it is 3-4, I can't imagine how bad it would be if I drank all night too...

Not pregnant I can't be blasted out of bed. Pregnant, I stop drinking about an hour or more before bed, pee RIGHT before I get into bed and I still get up either at 12 and 5 or sometimes just once at 3...NEVER can make it the night.

I get up 2-3 times, I tend to forget to drink during the day (could be that I am chasing/hsing 5 kids ) I drink 1-2liters of h2o during the night as I feel am so thirsty. Dh is so sweet, he always fills my 2 h2o bottles and places them on my nightstand for me.

Pregancy has made me appreciate other people's pee needs a lot more. When camping, everyone made a big deal about having to go in the middle of the night or immediately upon getting up... I could never understand it.

Background: I have been dubbed "the camel" among my family members b/c I pee about 2 times a day even drinking 64+ oz of water/ liquids a day. This is, pre-pregnancy....

Now, it's like 4-5 times per day, plus I go either in the middle of the night or immediately upon awakening... sooo weird for me.... can't imagine 4 times a night --> hope that's not permanent for you...

Only on a pregnancy thread could this discussion be completely normal

What has surprised me the most is that 2 weeks after we conceived, I started getting up 1-2 times a night to pee. Now that the baby is getting bigger I'm up 3-4 times, the first about 90 minutes after I go to sleep (even with peeing *right* before bed) and limiting liquids at night.

Everyone keeps telling me that this is our body's way of preparing us for when the baby comes. I think that is ridiculous because if my body really wanted to prepare me it would allow me to get a decent night's sleep!

I slept through the whole night last night!! Thank goodness because I was a zombie all day yesterday, I must have needed the sleep.

It's the first time I've slept through in forever, it felt quite nice

Hehehe, Erin "the camel" that's hysterical! :

I was just thinking yesterday about how miraculously accomodating the body is for many things w/ pregnancy, but how completely unfair it is that your fluid requirements go UP in pg, but your bladder size goes DOWN :

I curb my intake about an hour before bed (will still have sips, but no more guzzling) & only have to get up once during the night, thought I'm sure that will increase as I get further along.

Actually, my back is so sore when I sleep, maybe getting up for a walk a couple of times per night would do me good!
