It's been a little while since we did this and I find that I am off my feed a bit. I get hungry but absolutely nothing appeals to me. I am hoping that by hearing what you mamas and mamas-to-be are craving, it may give me some inspiration...

Just yesterday I ate two "cheese" sandwiches...whole wheat bread, marjarine, and a slice of soy cheese...not much nutrition there!! And I had to buy a jar of good sour dill pickles too. Otherwise, I've just been drinking lots of water and eating lots of vegetable bean soup.

I'm like you, ibex67, I don't have much of an appetite. Most of the time I feel like I'm making myself eat. I craved chocolate pudding last week but I only needed to eat one to take care of it.

It is strange that mine have pretty much stayed the same for the last few months. I'm still stuck on a salad and fried potato with onion for lunch. For dinner, I could eat mexican pretty much every night with breaks for pizza and be one happy momma. I've went to Taco Bell for one of the cheesey bean and rice burritos like 3 times in the last week and a half. I've got to figure out how they make the creamy sauce for them and then I could make them at home...yummmmm....now I want to go get another one

I have been so hungry this pregnancy! I've already gained 40 pounds, but I started out underweight, so I hope that it's ok. Things I've been eating tons of include: Honey bunches of Oats cereal with almond milk, lime popsicles, raw carrots (I've been obsessed with these), peanut butter toast, oranges, juice, smoothies, fried potatoes, green salads with "goodies" in them like sunflower seeds, walnuts, cheese, and french dressing. Cheese raviolis (with or with out any sauce), pizza, granola bars (with the chocolate chips), brown sugar oatmeal. I would kill for a corn dog and some cheetos, but so far I've been good. Hope this helps some.

I've about finished a bag of black jelly beans in the last two days, just because they're here. I don't even care for them all that much.

And I MUST have my bread-n-butter pickles with lunch every day! The lady in the cafeteria laughs at me.

Ibex, I've been like you. I eat because I SHOULD, not because anything really appeals to me.

Last week, ice cream tasted really good, but I'm over that now. This week, it's cucumbers. I bought them because I've had some swelling, but now I can keep them out of my mouth! (Guess that's not a bad thing though.)

I finally ordered some spare ribs from the chinese take out place the other night after wanting them for weeks. They were absolutely disgustingly delicious. I think I'm definitely over that craving.

I did buy 3 bags of Goldfish at the store yesterday.... for my toddler...

Tomatoes, tomatoes, tomatoes! I can't get enough tomatoes. Had my teeth cleaned yesterday, and the first thing the dentist told me to stay away from??? Tomatoes! Argh. Oh well - it was just for one day. You know those Campari tomatoes in the plastic container at the grocery store? I've been buying the store out of them! I know they're not organic, but they are so yummy I can't stay away from them. I buy them in the big 2 1/2 pound container at Costco! I ate the entire flat by myself in two days last time.

At this point, I will eat anything that holds still!

In all seriousness, I have been craving Chinese food! Yum! Also, lots of summer fruit-strawberries, blueberries, etc. I can't wait for Michigan summer produce... Sweet corn too!

I am really liking crunchy stuff. Kettle potato chips in particular. And ice. (I know I shouldn't, but I always crave ice during pregnancy.)

MILK MILK MILK MILK MILK!!!

As we were "enjoying" the 8-hour drive to Florida, everytime we saw a field of cows, my mouth starting watering, and i'd start thinking of milk, and I explained to DH my diabolical plan to secretly purchase a cow and keep her in the backyard.

It goes like this. Buy a cow. Hire a local kid to take her to graze in the field next door. Hire a milkmaid to milk her. Let her have calves to play with. Make lots of butter, although not when DH is home because churns are terribly erotic. Make her a very happy cow with very happy milk, and eventually i'll have an ARMY of delicious milk cows!!!

Mmm..... organic chocolate milk.

Also strawberries, but after last night's mold strawberry fiasco, i'm scared.

Eh, yes. I'll import some of the oompa loompas from the newest Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and one of them can tend the cow and make chocolate butter and chocolate milk and chocolate pudding while the others farm the majestic and delicious cocoa beans....

Man. I can't wait to go home and have some milk!

My favourite is Soy Delicious Peanut Butter Zig Zig...it's chocolate soy ice cream w/ peanut butter and chocolate bark
Although I've also been known to pour chocolate chips over a few spoonfuls of peanut butter in a pinch.

Great suggestions! I will check out all those options (by that I mean I will try them all until my craving is satisfied!).

well... I'm still not having cravings and am not particularly inspired to eat in general -- but this thread did give me some ideas.

I realized that juicy foods were really appealing to me right now. So last night I bought watermelon, and cantelope, and celery and chocolate milk. So far the watermelon and cantelope are hitting the spot.

I feel very thirsty a lot but too much fluid in my stomach makes me feel kind of gross.

I (unintentionally) lied earlier. While I didn't really consider this a craving at first, realizing that I eat these every day and grab a bag whenever I am in the snack room at work made me realize - I can't go a (work) day without Sahale Snacks. I love almonds, so I tend to gravitate towards the Soledad Blend. It's heaven. http://www.sahalesnacks.com/products_soledadBlend.asp

Have you ever put pb on a graham cracker and then put the choco chips on it? Really good. Although, I've been know to skip the cracker too and just dip choco chips into the pb.
