Ahhh, I knew it would happen! I've been so good about waiting on buying everything. But, the fever has hit me, so today I bought:

2 sets of Lana wool breast pads
Peanut Shell pouch
cloth wipes
some 4t clothes for ds

Phew! I think our bank account took a major hit today! Now, I only need a dresser for babe's room, a diaper bag and we're set! Off to look for a diaper bag now...

Sounds like fun! It's been so hard to wait for people to buy us stuff and since we just had a shower, DH and I feel like we can really start getting things together. Today is my last day at work before going on leave. I can do a lot of damage in 4 weeks.

you're lucky you're not here in NYC with me. everywhere I go there are a million cute baby boutiques, and I have to repeat the mantra "don't buy anything, don't buy anything" as I walk down the street.

Ok, good, I'm not the only one. I spent $150 at Babies R Us last night. :

I had waaaay too much fun and picked up:

-New diaper bag
-Pad for changing table
-New Parents Survival Kit (medicines for 1st year in a cute little tote)
-20 baby hangers
-4 passies
-Bottle Brush
-Infant nipples for bottles
-Nipple rings
-Big Brother Book for DS
-2 cotton swaddling blankets in sage green (love them!)

I'm sure I'll have to go and get more before baby comes...

I bought two peanut shells yesterday. One was a baby shower gift though. I already have a wrap, a ring sling, and another pouch. I don't know what's worse, my carrier addiction or the cloth dipes addiction.
