vomiting at 37 weeks? My "morning" sickness disappeared a few months ago...yet this morning, I woke up and barely made it to the bathroom. Possibly TMI, but puking on an empty stomach is HORRIBLE!! :

Anyone else ever experience this so late in the game?

Or am I being silly to hope it's all related to my being almost fully effaced and slightly dilated???

Curious,
Robyn

umm--i'm in the ACK club.

i haven't vomited in 10 years, but have twice in the past two weeks.

i just chalk it up to small stomach, mild heartburn.

I'm with you on the small stomach...but no heartburn here (thankful for small mercies!). I'm hoping for an explanation like "last minute surge of
baby-birthing related hormones which also cause nausea" ......wishful thinking?! Probably

Yep. Every week or so I get another round of it. Mild nausea every few days. I think it's like motion sickness caused by Shrimp moving so much and kicking me in the stomach (not good on a full stomach OR an empty stomach).

I've been having a little trouble in that area myself. Mostly towards the end of a meal. I tried to ignore the feeling once, but I learned my lesson right quick! I know my DP's sister was throwing up late in her pregnancy, but her nausea seemed to be induced by the summer heat.

I almost threw up my dinner all over the table last night. (Sorry, I know TMI, gross!)
I've been getting sick here and there in the mornings. I eat something really light first thing and then wait to see if I can keep it down before I eat something else and take my vitamins.

I'm in the same camp. I had every day sickness until 14 weeks, and since then, it's been about once a week, with a day of just ickiness.

Yesterday was the day for me. Luckily, it was just in the morning, and by 1 pm, I was feeling better.

Yup, first time this morning, at 34 weeks. That just isn't fair! : One minute I was brushing my teeth, the next....

At least the sink got the scrubbing it needed.

Ugh, don't get me started on the vomitting. EVERY MORNING it seems lately, I have had to puke. The good news is it is potentially helping me to dilate, but the bad news is, barfing sucks. DH has taken to bringing me a piece of toast first thing so I don't have an empty stomach, but it's not helping.

Mom to DD#1 8/04, nursed 43 months, DD#2 8/06, nursed 21 months and DD#3 9/08, still nursing strong

I've been feeling pretty darn queasy on and off. My appetite has also been funky. I've had to restock my fridge with 7 ups which I hate doing because I usually only need a sip or two from each can, so i end up wasting a lot. I kept thinking I had a tummy bug or something, so I've been being extra dilligent about taking my probiotics. Now I feel kind of dumb knowing it's just normal pregnancy stuff.
