I just got off the phone with a midwife and she said it sounds like a miscarriage. I'm going in for bloodwork today and tomorrow.
I am so depressed. I was so afraid this would happen. I can't believe it...
Okay, so I just got back from having an ultrasound. I saw the little peanut and the heart beating!! 141 beats per minute!
The ultrasound tech said I have a bicornuate uterus...it's shaped like a heart. Basically, he said everything should be fine. BUt I looked it up and I will have a much higher rate of miscarriages, preterm labor, smaller babies (because of the shape of my uterus, the baby doesn't have as much room to grow), and most of the babies are born breech and require a C-section. I really, really want a homebirth!
Okay, okay...I am just glad that everything appears just fine right now. I'm still worried as heck, but to see the heart beat really helped lift my spirits!
He also said that the bicornuate uterus could be why I am bleeding a little bit.
I'm just so happy But I don't want to get too excited...
Evergreen- Loving my girls Dylan age8, Ava age 4 and baby Georgia (6/3/11).
Just got back from the hospital. Dh came home early to take me in. They're checking my HCG levels today and Thursday to see if they drop. (keep your fingers crossed!)
I was a wreck earlier, but I am slowly starting to accept that if this happens, it was meant to be. It still doesn't make it any easier.
The worst part is going to be telling all our family and close friends what's happening
Mama to 9 so far:Mother of Joey (20), Dominick (13), Abigail (11), Angelo (8), Mylee (6), Delainey (3), Colton (2) and Baby 8 and Baby 9 coming sometime in July 2013. If evolution were true, mothers would have three arms!
I have stopped bleeding since that time I was in class. (Warning...TMI) Now I only get a big of brown-mucousy (sp?) stuff when I wipe. So I guess that's a good sign?
No cramps either. I am just trying to take it easy. Luckily it's snowing today so all my classes were cancelled. I am staying horizontal and not trying to get up much. I hope that is helping.
I should hear from the midwife today how my HCG levels were yesterday. I'm nervous...
when the zygote is implanting into the womb there is sometimes bleeding and mild cramping.
some women have lots and some aheva little and some have none.
strong cramps (like period cramps) and red blood are usually a sign of m/c.
hoping you are okay!
