When is it best to start RRL tea?

I also have so RR growing in my yard, 100% organic. How to make tea leaves from that?

I used RRL tea during my first pregnancy atthe very end, before I was induced.

Then with #2 I got serious and started drinking around 32 weeks. I had to lay off though because it would triple the BH contractions.

Should I start now or wait, and if so how much?

Maybe I will just experiment....

With #2 I walked around at 4 cm and 70% effaced for 3 weeks before going into labor. I think it was from the tea. Made my labor short... last one was 3.5 hours.

I recently asked my midwife this question, and she said to start 3 cups a day around week 34. She said I could start now, but by the time it really mattered and would be most beneficial (the last month) , I'd be sick and tired of it and would probably struggle with getting those three cups down. If you REALLY love it, and won't get tired of it, I guess you can start now.

Thanks for the info!

I also found a RRL tribe here too that answered a lot of questions.

Very interesting!

RRL - Red Raspberry Leaf tea. It's a uterine tonic that helps get the uterus in shape for labor. Many feel it helps to shorten the duration of labor. Check out the RRL tribe links on this site, and do a search on yahoo for additional info.
