My weight just keeps going up and up. This morning I weighed and had gained 4 pounds since Tuesday. I'm not really swollen or anything. I feel so fat. I've gained a LOT in my thighs. With my last pregnancy I only gained 19-20 pounds and today I was at 34-my highest weight ever.

I'm up 45, feel better? I have a feeling that I'll burn it off in no time when the swelling goes down and with the breastfeeding and stuff. I'd imagine you mommas of older kids also will burn it off even faster, chasing the olders while nurishing the babies

Aww, thanks! But judging from how my undies fit, I know I've gained in my thighs and butt also

I'm up 35 I've gained some in my legs and arms, but mostly my belly. I was slightly underweight before I got pregnant, so the extra pounds are good for me!

I wouldn't worry too much though. Plus, our weight fluctuates daily, so 4 pounds might not really be 4 pounds...

23 up and I think I finally earned another pound, that was hard work by the way! I suppose keeping 190 pounds needs quite some calories by itself, let alone gaining even more.

I was concerned because I didn't gain for 4+ weeks and now that I'm keeping a food diary as my midwife asked me to I started eating way more.

Please don't worry, my midwife actually worries of you gain too little ( under 27 pounds total)

i've gained 25lbs. only gained a total of 20 the last time (lost 10lbs in the first 3mos) but started out heavier with the last than i am now. on my last mw visit my jaw dropped and im sure that i looked like cuz i had gained 5lbs in two weeks, but it seems to be really all in the belly which mostly means him ... so no complaints

I was weighed today for the first time in months. I've gained 24lbs total which surprised me. I figured it would be more, although I haven't had the hunger that I normally have. I'd think that I'd have gained at least 30-40lbs since I'm measuring 38wks and I'm only 32.....

I've gained 20 pounds so far, at 34 weeks. I was a little overweight to start, and have lost weight in my arms and legs during the pregnancy - now they look skinny next to my stomach.

I love my big baby belly. I just can't figure out how to post a pic on the belly picture thread.

Has anyone done any body casts or belly painting/henna?

Erin, due 9/10

I'm up about 20 lbs and have really noticed the change in my thighs (maybe butt too?) in the past month. Undies just don't fit right, and old thigh stretch marks are coming back to haunt me. Too bad, because earlier in the pregnancy, the baby sucked the fat from my butt and I loved looking at photos of myself from behind, hah! It was the skinniest my rear has been in a while!

I have gained 61 lbs so far. Previous pregnancy I gained 70, so no real surprise.

Okay, so I'm not the ONLY big gainer I fully expect to gain 50 lbs with this pregnancy overall, and I really don't care any more!

Can I be obnoxious and say I've gained 2 pounds so far in 33 weeks? I expect to gain more in these last weeks, but when I'm pregnant is the only time (in my whole life) I can eat and eat and eat whatever I like and I don't gain any weight. Whole milk! Ice cream! Croissants with preserves! Bring it on! (I'm plus-sized to begin with and measuring just fine, so little weight gain is nothing to be concerned about btw.) After baby's born I expect to weight about 20 lbs less than when I started.

Since when I'm pg is the only time in my life I feel good about my metabolism, I just have to share about it!!

I have gained 29 pounds at 33 weeks and expect a 35 pound gain by the end (puts me at 15 pounds to lose, since I always lose 20 lbs. immediately following the birth). I gained a lot in the beginning but things have slowed down now (I think...but this baby could be bigger too so we'll see...).

I have only gained 20 pounds which is less than I gained with DS at this point, but with DS I was all belly...This time I am WIDE!!!!

I don't spend much time looking at myself in the mirror, but my weekly yoga class just put mirrors in: after the 1st class in front of the mirror I wanted to cry, I hand no clue I was that wide. Although it isn't entirely pregnancy related. Not pregnant I could stand to lose a good 50-60 pounds :

We'll see how much more I gain in the next 4-8 weeks before baby arrives. All I can say is that however much it is, I hope it is belly not anymore in my hips & butt

I've gained 31 lbs. at almost 36 weeks and I am over the moon about it! I didn't loose and ounce after I had DD (gained 45lbs., weighed 200 lbs at delivery!), breastfeeding and all. I had to work my a** off (literally). I walked 3-4 miles everyday to loose the weight, and still could have lost 10 more lbs before I got pregnant this time. I really hate exercise, so I am excited that I won't have to kill myself after this wee one gets here. :

I've gained about 12lb so far (34 weeks). Like a PP said, pregnancy is the only time I can eat whatever I want and not gain a thing. I also started this pregnancy out over weight and the baby and belly are growing nicely so I'm not too worried. I am actually looking forward to weighing less than I did pre-pregnancy after this babe is born!

I'm like mojumi, I've put on hardly anything...! I haven't actually weighed myself though (I'm gunna do this today when I go into town cos now I really wanna know) but I still have problems with my pants falling down cos they're too big etc... I'm an american size 4 - 6 (Still wearing my nomal clothes and I'm now at almost 33wks), I've always been small though, well, I'm quite tall (5"9) but I've been thin my whole life, no matter what I ate or did.... So its basically just me - with a stomac...! All my friends find it hilariously funny, apparantly I look like a stick figure with a belly.

At my last appt I was up 26# and with #2 where I gained the most I maxed out at 23#. It's all in my belly though since I am still wearing smaller sized maternity clothes than with either of the previous two. It is frustrating though since I know I am definately eating better this time!

I have been a total underachiever in this weight thing. I have gained 13# so far. I am petite to start with and then between school and keeping up with GV and LP, who has time to eat?
When I can, I cram it in! I was a bit overweight by 15# when I started this pregnancy though, so that adds up to 28#.
Hoping to loose 20# after delivery and get closer to my normal size.
Measuring right on 32 weeks at my appt last week.

Well, I've gained 24lbs this pregnancy so far. My first 2 I gained 42lbs each, #3 I only gained 20lbs but I was heavier when I got pregnant. This time around I was less then my PP weight with #1 so we'll see how much I gain. I can't imagine it'll be much though cause I'm always on the go chasing the other 3!!!
