My best friend came over yesterday (same day as my in-laws arrived! Eeek!) and last night we did my belly cast!
I'm just wondering if anyone else has done one so far?

I have a few pictures:
While we were making it

And two comparisons to my cast done with my daughter, at the most only 2.5 weeks gestation difference between them. Gee, you think this baby will be bigger?!
comparison #1
In case you don't see too much of a difference, try this angle: comparison #2

Wow, This baby's definitely in a different position. All 3 of mine have been in very different positions too. This one is very round compared to dd#2 and dd#1 was all out front.

I started my belly cast a week or so ago. I still need to go over it with plaster and everything so it will be ready to be painted. I want to have everyone sign the inside at my blessingway.

We did mine last Sunday!

It took forever to dry completly though (has been really really rainy here though). I need to cut it down some, re-inforce the sides, smooth out the plaster-then I can paint it! I'm sure I have plenty of time still...LOL

One thing though, when I was doing it, when it was almost dry enough to take off-I started getting really light headed and dizzy like I was going to pass out...am I the only one-or just wierd? (actually, it is possible that I did too much that day too )

Looks fabulous, this one does look bigger.

I did my belly cast a week and a half ago. I'm still thinking about what design to put on it..........it was fun I'd recommend it to anyone.

Cool! Looks good!

We did a belly cast last pregnancy and this time too. It's nice to be married to an artist who really enjoys stuff like this!

Wow, those are both really nice! I am planning on doing mine hopefully next weekend! I wanted to wait until my belly was enormous, but hopefully not miss the boat! I am moving on Friday back up to the place where I attend midwifery school and want my classmates to do it! Since they are obviously obsessed with the belle!

Anyway, Babs, yours are gorgeous, and I love the paint on Tempest's.

Grateful midwife and peaceful mama to three blissfully birthed, amazing children: dd (10)dd (7) and  ds (5).

We want to do a belly cast (soon!), but I don't really know how to do it or what supplies we need. Can anyone give me directions or a link to where I could get directions and supplies needed?

Thanks mamas!
