i started out overweight, so have really tried to control it this time around. with pg#1 i gained 65#, with #2, i gained about 35#, so far into this one (28 weeks) i've gained 9! however, i feel that's coming to an end, as i've recently given in to my insatiable cravings for milky ways.

I've gained 20 lbs so far and I'm 30 weeks. I hear that babies pack on the pounds the most at the end, and lord knows my appetite is better than ever, so we'll see where I end up!

I think about 20 so far, but I'm trying not to think about it too much. I can't really do my walking anymore because it's way too hot down here. I'm sure I'll be packing on the pounds for the month of August!!

I've gained 36 pounds...yikes. I gained 45 with my son. I know I'll surpass that this time...

In love with Dh since 1998. We created Ds (7.1.03), Dd (10.16.06) and Dd (3.16.09).

15 lbs at 28 weeks. I was a size 12 to begin with so I feel pretty good about that. But I'll gain whatever I need to, don't mind. I am soooo happy to be pregnant with this little love!

I've gained about 22 lbs so far at 30.5 weeks. My total weight gain with baby #1 was only about 28 lbs, so I know I'll go over that this time... hopefully not too much. Wow, I can't believe it's only about 10 weeks until my EDD. Yikes!

I started out with a good amount of extra weight. All that aside, when I was in for an appointment two weeks ago, I weighed the same (at 25 weeks) that I had at my 9 week appointment. I have since gained about 2 pounds. I was diagnosed early with GD and have been doing the diet, which has really kept my weight gain down but my nutrition way up. Baby's growing perfectly, and noone says anything about my weight gain, so I'm quite happy with it.
Now...to lose it all...that is going to be fun, fun, fun!

14-16 pounds at 27 weeks, although it could be a few more since I haven't weighed myself since my last OB visit. I have another on Friday and I'm interested in seeing the actual amount. I am gaining weight in a strange way - all around my waist, a bit in the boobs, but nowhere else. if you didn't know I was pregnant you'd probably think I had a beer gut depending on what I'm wearing

I'm just getting ready for my next appointment, but at my 24 week appointment, I had finally gotten back to my starting weight at my 7 week appointment. I know with ds I had gained more by this point, but with this one, I started out a few pounds heavier and I've been walking faithfully even though it's been hot as hell. I started this pregnancy about five pounds less than where I finished the previous one, so I am quite relieved to have been able to keep the pounds from packing on.

WTG Kathryn!! I remember you worrying over your food intake - that's great!!

Me, I have no idea. I don't own a scale anymore so I have weighed myself only twice in this entire pregnancy. I lost 15+lbs at the beginning from morning sickness, and ended up back at 130 the last time I checked. I was 155 on the day I gave birth to my daughter, and 130 when I had my son (with both I started from 105, but with this one I hadn't lost all the baby weight in six weeks time and started from 115).

I got curious this am and hopped on, 19 lbs at 27 weeks. My weight gain is slowing down, last month I was at 17lbs. I only gained 19 lbs total with dd despite consuming every calorie in sight.

There is no way to happiness, happiness is the way.

20 lbs at 30 weeks.

I am currently 10 lbs more than I was when I delivered baby #1, but I started the pregnancy about 15 lbs heavier. The most I have ever weighed was 165 when I delivered baby #2 and I am only 5 lbs shy of that right now. So, there may be some record breaking .

Okay, I think I'm breaking the record. I've gained 50 lbs and I'm only 29 weeks. I gained a total of 46 with DD so I've already surpassed that. And have I mentioned lately that I'm still f***ing nauseous!? this is really getting ridiculous. Eating has been the ONLY thing that has ever helped. I am a normal weight at 130 and 5'6" but when I'm pregnant all hell breaks loose. The weight has been bothering me -- I am just so miserable physically. Nothing fits and I just feel so gross. I can't wait to get this baby out of me, start b-feeding, and NOT feel nauseous anymore so I can eat like a "normal" human being.

OMama, I think I love you.: I was starting to feel like some kind of weight gaining freak. I am really sorry you are still nauseated, that just sucks (I was like that with my son and still sometimes now too). It is hard carrying around all this extra weight. We don't have too much longer though even if fall seems so far away right now.

I had gained 30 lbs at 27 weeks. I need to gain quite a bit more, but my diet is soooo restictive! I only gained 2.5 lbs last moth because of it. The good news is the babies looked great. As long as they contiue gaining I don't care. I put on 65 lbs. with my dd and I started this pg almost 15 lbs heavier than with her. I hear that nursing mamas of multiples drop weight so quickly it is scary. Most have said they were below their pp weight before 3 months!

Mama to 4 darlings. A ('03), O and K ('06), A ('09), and wife to M since 2002.

Yeah, I pretty much don't ever stop eating now. I'm always hungry and I never feel full. It's disgusting how much meat I've eaten since the 20 week mark (when I found out). blech. I can't wait until I don't have to pack on so much protien anymore. I'll do whatever it takes to keep them in though.

I was at 20# for week 28.5. I guess that is ok. I don't want to gain a whole lot more since I had put on quite a bit with dd. I am wondering if bfing helps? I only gained 3# this past month. Is it supposed to taper off, or speed up at the end?

This pregnancy I have gained 7lbs. With my first I gained 50. The weight fell off. With my second I gained 35 and lost most of it. With my third I gained 35 and lost none. So we shall see!

About 25 pounds at about 28 weeks. I started out small (an underweight BMI), so any extra is fine with me.

I have gained 42 lbs at week 28. I gained 50 with my dd, so I know I'll surely be in the 60-70 range with these two little ones.
