So I just took a bath and "tried" to shave my legs.....ha! I was cracking myself up in there. I figured the bath would be easier than the shower but I was wrong!. I have my baby shower/blessing this weekend so I figured I would shave for the first time in months. I totally couldn't get to all my leg and baby was kicking me like crazy. I guess I'll have to do some touch up shaving in the shower tomorrow.
It was pretty amusing.....anyone else cracking themselves up?
I agree my DH doesnt mind shaving me . As for my legs though i do laugh sometimes in the shower its like i want to put my belly to the side to get around it
I'm having my blessingway this weekend too. I only shave my legs about every two weeks now, but I was thinking it would be nice to shave before my friends come over as well. (I was planning on wearing a skirt). I want to feel beautiful, as much as it's possible to these days. Shaving is rather comical for me as well. Peeing is still probably one of the funniest things I do -- I have to spread my legs wide a part and lean forward, being sure to not fall off the toilet seat.
I'm still managing to shave my legs, it has become the (as previously posted) "landing strip" that is becoming difficult. I'll have to employ the aid of my husband, although I'm a little nervous just in case he cuts me!!!! OUCH!
Even that is impossible with a 53" diameter. I can't even reach my feet when laying in the tub now. My DH is starting to call me the turtle, 'cause I get stuck on my back.
Here's one for you:
Last night we are driving my car which just came back from a tune-up. Everytime I turn the wheel I hear this RASPING sound. It was driving me nuts because I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I turn off the radio so DH and I can focus on the sound. Finally as I make the sharp turn into our driveway, it hits me. Literally. The steering wheel had been brushing against my clothes!! My belly is TOUCHING the steering wheel!
: DH laughed so hard he almost cried! Now I don't know what to do. DH is going back to work on Monday, and I can't move the seat back much farther. I am going to be driving with my big toe. How am I going to get to all my appointments if I can't drive? I have something at the Doc, Chiro, or hospital EVERY day until delivery. Cross your fingers for me that I can make it 3 more weeks without needing dial a ride.
I would chauffer you around if I could! I have a tilt wheel in the van and it is very helpful! I can tilt it out of the way and get some clearance...but I'm not quite as big as you are! I measured my belly for the other thread and it's 44.5 inches.
Jody, my belly is also touching the steering wheel and making that hilarious noise. I'm REALLY hoping I don't get too much bigger, because there isn't a lot of room anymore, either! I've tilted the wheel and I've moved nearly all the way back. I'm hoping I have a 38 weeker, because I doubt I'll be able to drive at 40!
Last weekend dh and I went away overnight for my birthday. It was the first time we'd had an overnight together in nine years (since our honeymoon!) and figured we should get one in before the baby arrives.
There was a pool at the hotel and we thought we'd go for a swim. I put on the bathing suit and realize I have some amazing bikini hair action going on. Yikes! So I pull out the razor and basically drive shave in front of a full length mirror. Do you have any idea how difficult that was?
I really shouldn't have bothered. I'm way too vain!
