Hi! There was a video out about 25 years ago that compared a fetal ultrasound to the likes of having 250 chest x-rays (yikes!). Its a good video, but an older one for sure. Anyhow, I'm just wondering if anyone has a link to a site and/or article that compares the amount of radiation in an ultrasound to that of an x-ray of any sort? Or the all-round concerns about fetal u/s? I need it today, if possible, as its for a patient of my husband's who has concerns.

Thanks!
Andrea

Ultrasound uses physical, aka sound, waves -- not electromagnetic radiation. So that's kinda misleading.

There's some good info in the http://gentlebirth.org/archives/ under Prenatal Screening.
