Is anyone else dealing with a REALLY active baby?

Not all the time, but from time to time, YES! I was saying to my husband tonight that I thought s/he was trying to come out through my abdomen today!

Yes! This little man is very active. Always moving and kicking. I love it, but some of his kicks are starting to hurt alittle. Not to mention the ones down in the cervix.

Same here!!! My little guy is soooo active!!! I have had quite a few kicks that were so strong I nearly jumped from pain!!!

Absolutely! There are times when the kicking, punching, stretching gets tiresome - like having never-ending hiccups. This baby seems much more active to me than DD was.

Last time I believe placenta was in front, muffling all movement. This time placenta is definetly in back, and I feel a lot more rolling, turning and kicking/punching movement. I'm grateful. (though ask me again in another two months, maybe I'll change my mind )

I believe this baby's schedule is as follows:
Sun: Aerobics
Mon: Tap Dance
Tues: Gymnastics
Wed: Kick Boxing
Thurs: Salsa Dancing
Fri: Freestyle Swimming
Sat: Karate

Oh, and the advanced courses of course are taught the minute I want to go to sleep!!!!!

(The fun part though: have you started playing "reverse tug of war" with your baby yet?!?! Try pushing back and see what happens!!! Mine will also respond to tapping if she is active....and tap or kick back!)

Yep... this babe too...

and this is the first time that I have a babe that is in a different position ever few hours.... transverse, breech, head down... it is crazy how much this kid moves..

both of the boys had very low lying placenta's and very short cords and just didn't have the freedom of movement... I am pretty sure that this is NOT the case this time!

Thanks for the laugh. This babe is pretty active. i had never thought about placement of the placenta like another poster mentioned. That's an interesting thought. I was wondering if this one is more active or if it has just been that long since I've been pregnant! (my son is 4 1/2)

It seems since 5 months or so I can see my belly rolling, jumping etc and I don't think that happened with my older son until I was like 8 months along.

This gal is such a wiggler that it freaks the dog out. The pup won't go near my belly anymore. She just looks at me with these huge eyes. "Um, mama, there's something *in* your belly." One days, she hid behind my partner in the bed.

Im starting to have less and less room now... so when one kicks it is so low "down there" I feel like its kicking its way out! the other one right inbetween my ribs and feels like it is trying to kick my throat lol

I think mine is trying to gouge out my liver. She is constantly jabbing up under my right ribs

I remember playing that with my first! (He'll be 9 in six weeks. ) I thought I had a genius fetus. I'd push twice, he'd kick back twice. I'd push three times, he'd kick back three times!
