Well, actually I'm already pretty active on these forums, esp. "Birth and Beyond." Thought I'd formally say hello though, as DD is due November 15th. DS was born October 2004, via emergency cesarean. (Pics of us, my silk paintings, PDF and online birth story at abrosenlund.com - for access name is 4cmopen and password is 3567) DD is planned as a homebirth/waterbirth, and hoping it is a healing process.

And a question for all you mammas. CRUNCHY

Dictionary.com: adj : crisp; brittle. pleasingly firm and fresh and making a crunching noise when chewed. Crisp, firm.

Allison: adj : a type of peanut butter

hahahah!
Crunchy to me is 'just to the left of mainstream'!
I am definitely a crunchy mama--but you may not notice by looking at my clothes (unless you notice my Birks), how I 'talk' (unless I'm talking about birth, babies, family living, etc), or unless you see me nursing a 3 yr old! hahahahaa

Congrats on your decision to birth your baby with a VBAC and a home/water birth to boot! I am also looking forward to this 'healing birth' since my dd's birth was definitely NOT what I had planned...

Welcome! And congrats!
