using ginger snaps as a spoon

Nope, I'm not a wacko, bored-on-bedrest pregnant woman, am I?

But seriously, you've got to try the rum raisin with ginger snaps. SOOOO good!

What other *treats* are you all enjoying these days?

I had to laugh because my MIL and I were debating buying a carton of RR ice cream this afternoon!

I had a bowl of capucino chip this afternoon =) And she has a bunch of German chocolates here, too... so I'm not exactly staying slim this time But then again, I don't get to do this often either.

I finished the whole pint (well, there was only half left to begin with, so it wasn't SOO bad!)

But man, that was defintieyl my best pregnancy-concoction, LOL! I got the idea from a recipe I saw somewhere recently (cooking light, maybe?) for an ice cream pie. It was a pint of rum raisin ice cream, softened to room temp, mixed with a can of pumpkin pie mix, pour the mix into a graham cracker crust (which I'd do a ginger snap crust instead) and topped with fresh whipped cream. Seriously, first thing I'm doing when I get off bedrest is making that pie, LOL!

I have never enjoyed peach pie as much as I have in this pregnancy. Plain and simple peach pie....maybe a scoop of vanilla on the side but nothing like a good peach pie in the last few weeks (and I'm usually a chocoholic but it isn't appealing to me in the same way these days...).

Yummmmmm
I've been on a chocolate icecream with bananas kick...I'm swearing that that is the reason I have curbed the heartburn and the leg cramps! So...I feel it is a medical necessity! hahahahah
