37 week appointment update - Mothering Forums

Again, basic and boring, really.

I told the midwife that I am ready to issue this child an eviction notice - I am just utterly exhausted, sore, heavy (I've gained more weight this time than either of my other pregnancies and I really feel it), and swollen.

Weight gain : 28 lbs total (still - none in the last week)
Blood pressure : 110/70
Glucose and Protein : neg
Fundal Height : 37 cm
Fetal Heart Rate : 150 bpm

My hemoglobin check last week was good - came in at 135.
They didn't get a number back for my RH antibody screen though, and I declined to retest today since they'll do it at the birth anyhow.

Canadian mom to Boo (Aug '02), Bug (Aug '04) and Bear (Dec '06).

Eviction notice

Little bit longer, little bit longer....I realized today too that it's time to institute the work for an hour, rest for an hour rule...so easy to wear oneself out at this point.

Yes, I have to wait longer.

Both my kids are sick, and I can't imagine bringing a newborn into this family while they are sick (DS has a fever of 104F or higher, DD has a wet, junky cough) - even I've got a sore throat and mild cough.

Once we're all on the road to health again though - bring on the labour vibes !
