My DH told me about this and I did not believe it until I read it myself. jaw2.gif

How absolutely horrible.

I'm just wondering how many parents actually get in a confrontation because of their children's behavior in public?

What would you have done if you were that poor mom?

I love the suggestion to "please calm your child" - hmmmm, how often have you seen a parent not desperately trying to do just that!

Wow though. Not sure what I would have done but I'm pretty damn sure he wouldn't have had the opportunity to get more than one hit in 'cause my inner mama bear would have been right in there.

Shocking!

Surviving sleep deprivation one day at a time with dd (Oct '11) & ds (Oct '08).

Yeah, this was my thought, exactly. I dunno why he was physically able to do it. I would have been right between him and my child. Maybe she was frozen in shock?

FYI, that incident (and article) is more than 3 years old.

The mother overreacted? I'm sure I would have "overreacted", too!

Working mom married to a stay at home/student dad and mama to three loud and happy boys- 18, 13, and 11. After 11 years with no luck, we're expecting a new little girl babe in July!  Surpriiiiiise!

Ha. Didn't notice that. Dunno why I didn't hear about this back when it first happened? It mentions the woman who sprayed her child in a carwash, and I remember that....
