The amount of times that the author of Raising Your Spirited Child mentions television, babysitters, or commercial products? Good greif! I love the book, but am seriously getting irritated by her throwing in comments about tv all the time (and the comments are NOT all about how we shouldn't be letting kids watch tv). She seems to assume that everybody lets their kids watch a lot of tv and that there's nothing wrong w/ it. Though, to be fair, she does say that tv should be limited for spirited children b/c it's too stimulating for them. Call me weid, but I think tv should be severly limited for all kids (and adults too)!
