Last time around I had 36 infant prefolds, 6 nb covers, and 6 small covers, which got us through the first 4 1/2 months. We also had 3 small fuzzibunz and 1 wonderoos, which we used for outings, especially once she got wriggly.

The person I borrowed 24 of those prefolds and several of the covers from is having a baby 2 months before this one is due, so I'm going to need to buy 24 infant prefolds and 4 newborn proraps. Even though my daughter was 8 pounds, 5 oz at birth, I still preferred to use the newborn covers for the first 6 weeks, so I'm expecting I'll want to do that again.

We've always used chinese prefolds here, but I'm thinking about getting some indian ones this time, depending on what kind of a deal I can get. We'll see.

with DS we used nb mutts and kissaluvs with bummis covers, and then from about 4 months till 7 months we used SOS with KP covers and then recently I switched to Swaddlebees pockets. With this baby I have bought 2 dozen kissaluvs 0 and i have 4 mutts so far, i'm hoping to get a dozen mutts and I will use bummis again and longies, and then when the baby outgrows those i will use swaddlebees pockets.
