I just thought it might be fun to talk about what we've all gotten so far in our fluff stashes since we are pretty close to the end . So far I've got:

19 Small FBs (gift from my mom)
8 Kissaluvs 0's
1 Pair of merino wool longies (gift from friend)
2 newborn soakers (gift from friend)
2 newborn velcro cover

I want to get some more kissaluvs or some prefolds, put we'll have to see what we can afford.

This is my "stash":

5 small FBs
2 AIOs

I guess I really have left everything to the last minute! My mom will be sending me a few FBs, I think, and I have made it pretty clear to my sis' that if they get me anything it would be those. What happened to my plan of buying a diaper a week? Ah well...

Oh, I know I need more, but I've already spent so much.

I have 12 one-size BumGenius 2.0
13 FB small w/ inserts
I also got a cute variety pack from diaperco. It seemed like a great way to try out a few different kinds.
-2 whisper wraps
-2 kissaluv size 0
-1 Happy Heiny
-1 Bumgenius AIO size sm
-1 Bumpkin

and a bunch of CPF all washed and ready

I was planning on buying some more CPF and two more whisper wraps. I just read that some moms just rinse out their wraps and use two during the whole day over their CPF when they have the newborns. I figure that's a good plan until they grow enough to fit into some of the other dipes.

Oh, and the best part. MIL had been making woolies! And she'll alter them if we find they need a little ooompf. Yay. That's a big expense gone away.

We wanted a purely utilitarian starter stash, but after hearing what all everybody has, I'm worrying we don't have enough. All we have in newborn size is 36 CPFs, 6 Proraps, 2 Bum Genius, and 1 wool soaker.

6 small fuzzibunz with inserts
20 cpf's
5 super whisper wraps

I also have some larger cpf's and covers, and medium fb's that dd wears. Ultimately I need to get some more medium fb's or hh's, they are my favorite and dd has been in mediums since 3-4 months old (she will be two in feb) so it would be much more cost effective to just use what we have in the small sizes and buy most of our stash in medium.

Well - I thought I might need to buy more but then one of my best friends gave me her newborn/small diapers and now I think I have enough to diaper three newborns! I'm so excited! I've always had a fairly modest newborn stash as they aren't in them for long but now I have a ton!

I have the following:
80 newborn cpf's
40 small to large cpf's with a few larger covers
26 kissaluvs size 0 & work at home made contours
a handful (maybe 12) of proraps in preemie, newborn & small sizes
a few other small covers, but basically just like proraps

I don't know what type of covers I will like best, so I am keeping things very basic.

The only reason we have so many is that the local diaper service went out of business & I got the cpf's for a song

Not as much as I thought

I have a dozen little prefolds and 3 fitteds. Oh and two nb bummis. Pathetic!! Not that I've been procrastinating or anything I don't know why I thought I had more. However, at least I know what I'll be working on for the next couple weeks.

I have more stuff to add, mostly covers. I still need more prefolds, though, and we're going to be getting bumGenius for all the kids when the tax return rolls in... they are the best diapers ever!

Well I dont have a stash yet, as this is my first time CDing a newborn.
I have read I can do 24-36 CPF's in size NEWBORN (green mountain diapers) and that would be enough. Also thinking of 4 BSWW newborn covers and 2 small ones. Maybe some snappis. Do most of you recommend snappi/pinning the PF's or just laying them in the wraps?
Also, when are fitteds and aio's good? Are they better than CPF's?
Sorry, still learning, and dont have much time.

It's hard for me to keep track...I've gone a bit crazy on the TP and Diaperswappers. I love a good bargin.

6 Thirsties Newborn CPF
6 Thirsties Infant CPF
2 Imse Vimse Day Covers- NB
1 Prowrap- NB
1 XS Fuzzi Bunz
1 S Happy Heiny
1 BSWW- NB
1 Wool Soaker- NB
1 Wool Longie- NB

Still need: Kissaluvs 0, Swaddlebees NB Fitted, more CPFs, more covers.

I feel like I have some small covers. I also just peeked at my registry and I've got a lot of cloth diaper stuff coming to me at my work shower tomorrow. I can't believe how generous everyone is being. I feel so blessed.

Mama to my beautiful Ana Carolina (2/07), Isabel Cristina (6/10), and #3 on the way in August 2013!

I have NO IDEA
I dug out the covers and CPFs the other day to launder. Still waiting for a nice day (no dryer) every thing is from DD#1
There are a ton of Japanese flats that I used in the beginning. I just layed them in the wool cover, no snappy or pins. I think you are fine with just laying them when they are newborns, ie. they can`t roll over or crawl or otherwise move the diaper. But, what I learned is go with what works for YOU. the *best* diapers or systems are the ones you develop to fit your lifestyle and your babe.

I might want to get some more small Fuzzy Buns or Happy Heinys. I only had a few new born diapers and they didn`t get much use. As some one mentioned used the MED. size for years. Actually at least one of the newborn diapers is currently on a doll...

I'm not completely sure exactly what I've got either, but I've got about 30 AIO's that I got from a friend for $2 each (), a dozen infant prefolds, and a bunch of different covers (stacinator, BSWW, Imse Vimse, and a couple of wool covers I crocheted). I've got the option of getting more AIO's (if I like them) from the same friend, she is moving and is done having babies and she said they are mine if I decide I like them!

For now I think I've got enough to cover the NB period. Once the babe is bigger, DS is outgrowing some prefolds and covers, so I'll get to keep using those
