Looking for solid information on Breastfeeding in Mandarin. Also any Mom forums or support groups in Mandarin. I have a new mom who is getting conflicting info. She is distrustful of western culture, but at the same time wants to breastfeed. She said that Chinese info states that breast milk is no better than water after 6 months.
Her main support, Sharon, is a dear friend of mine who is an experienced mom and holistic nutrition councilor. The mom has relied on her for a lot and seems really influenced by her as well. Sharon's looking into mom support groups and also trying to find books or other website in Mandarin for her to read.
That is a tough one. La Leche League has info in various languages, but I'm wondering if it comes from a western source, will she even care if it's in her language? The light gray bar along the top of this link has the different languages. I see Chinese, but not Mandarin. http://www.llli.org/resources/otherlanguages.html
I'm curious to know if you find anything.
