Has anyone used both? Which did you prefer? why? which is easier to clean?

if you have used both the started sns and the regular one what are the diffrences? How many oz does the regular one hold?

I currently have a Lact-Aid. I got the delux set and now one of them is not really working. I am also running low on bags. I looked and the cost to order more bags is about the same if not more then getting an Medela SNS. I only supplement once a day at home in the evenings, about 4-5oz on avrage, up to 7 or 8 if she is really hungrey.

(and because I like polls and I think they are fun I will add one here )

The SNS is ok, but I really prefer the LA. I have 3 of them (it was 4, but we lost one of the tubes : ) so I don't have to wash/rinse them a ton during the day. Yes, the small parts are a pain, but if we're going somewhere all day, I just pack all three then drop the dirty ones into a ziploc bag to be washed when we're back home.

I don't care for the hard plastic bottle on the SNS.

A happy woman

The regular SNS measures up to 5 oz. It actually holds about 6 ounces. I have a started SNS and unless you are feeding with it only occasionally (like less then daily- I got it to try while out of the house), get the regular one.

I clean my SNS bottle with a bottle brush, though you may have to try a few before you find one that works. I'd also suggest a funnel to avoid spillage while filling. I use the one that came with my Lactaid.

Mama to Raina (9/06) and Peter (8/09)!
