I'm looking at buying the ameda lactaline pump (I belive it's the UK name for the purely yours). However the websites I've looked at say that it is not suitable for microwave steralising. Does anyone know why, or what might happen if I do?

I haven't looked much at other pumps but is this advice the same for all of them?

Does anyone use the chemical steralising fluids on thier pump, do you have to make sure all the tubing is dry and stuff?

ETA I'll be pumping for a premmie so I really do need to keep everything clean
