Despite a huge, long, mess, I'm still hoping that I'll be able to nurse my little Bear again someday. Trouble is, I have no milk these days. Aside from pumping as often as possible, what can I do to stimulate milk production again? I'd love to hear success stories as well...

I don't know what your story is, but here's some good information:

Also, please check out the "low milk supply" stickie at the top of the BF challenges forum, it has information about helping pumped output & galactagogues to maximize your milk supply.

Hi, how old is your baby? My baby began breastfeeding at age 7 months. I used a hospital grade double pump (Medela Symphony). Before she began breastfeeding, I gave her as much skin to skin contact as possible and finally got her to latch while squiriting a syringe of milk into her mouth. As soon as she finally latched for good, I started producing lots more milk.

He's two and a half months old. Unfortunately, though, it looks like I won't be able to nurse him in any case-- he's on amino-acid based formula and it seems to be the only thing that keeps him from vomitting blood.
