I can only feel my baby at the very bottom of my uterus. Does that seem normal? That's the only place I've been able to feel him since I started feeling movement. At my last appt., I asked my OB and he said it was fine, but i'm wondering if it's still OK at this point (21 weeks). I can't remember if my first DS was moving all over the place at this point, or staying toward the bottom. Thanks!

That's where I feel movement, too (usually once a day or so, now). I just figured it was due to the placenta being up and in front this time, so that I don't feel movements higher up as much.

Thats where I feel the most movement as well. Just recently (as in this week) have I started to feel the baby kick up high every once in a while. The movements have gotten harder but has stayed pretty low for the most part.

Expecting #9.  Always busy hsing.

My baby was down at the bottom for a very long time. It is just recently, days, that I feel movement at the top. It was like squished down atthe bottom, I was wondering whythey were staying all theway down there when I had all thatroom on top. But now I guess it knows it can move around.

I only felt movement along the bottom and a bit on the right edge. When I went for my 20week u/s, the tech told me my placenta was in the front (anterior). There is nothing wrong with this placental position, but it does tend to cushion movement, especially at this stage. I have noticed more "middle" area movement over the past 2 or 3 days. I'm 22 weeks today.

Hope this helps set your mind at ease!

During my first pg I had such a hard time discerning between the sensation of digestion and fetal movement. The best way I can describe that early movement is it feels like I have a popcorn popper in my abdomen. Do you feel anything like that? I know many people describe it in different ways (flutters, bubbles, etc.). Also if you have an anterior placenta or a tilted uterus, you may not feel too much for a few weeks yet.

Same here! Most of what I feel is just above my pubic bone - that's the only place we can feel hir from the outside. That, and on my cervix, and sometimes kicking toward my rectum. I'm gonna vote "completely normal".

Ditto here. It's all within the realm of normal.

Hi!

19 weeks here and with all three of my pregnancies, I felt only lower movements at this point.

Seems perfectly normal to me!

Enjoy!!!!
