Okay, our name lists are too long and we need help!!!

If anyone will share which of these they like the best it would be a great help!

Girls
Lila
Lucy
Sadie
Josephine (Josie)
Genevieve (Evie)
Cecelia
(Josephine & Genevieve are family names if that makes any difference)

Boys
Adam
Erik
Seth
Spencer (Spence)
Theodore (Theo)
Thomas

We have a bunch of middle names that we like (Ann, Grace, Ella, Belle, Jane, Noelle & James, John, Vincent, Everett, Henri) depending on which names we select for first names.

Thank you so much if you are still reading!!!

BJ
Barney & Ben

Sadie and Seth get my vote. Not too weird, not too hard to spell and just a little old fashioned.

I like Genevieve especially, although they're all decent. I don't think I would do Adam or Theodore for a boy - nothing else pops out at me. (Erik Everett has a certain appeal, though)

Good luck!

What great names!

I would go with Genevieve (and I love Evie or Eve for a nn), Cecelia, or Lucy for a girl, and Thomas or Seth for a boy.

I like Genevieve. I also like Josephine. For boys the only one that stands out for me is Seth.

I really like Lucy (it's MIL's nickname or it owuld be on my list too) and Genevieve. For the boy names, I like Theo and Adam and Seth. As a teacher, every Thomas I've known needed to be hit. (I teach teenagers) It's a family name for us, but we won't consider it, b/c I've yelled it too many times already.

Genevieve with Evie for a nickname is way cool...and I love the name Thomas.

Still a pretty long list, good thing we still have a few months to go!

The below are obviosuly my opinions only. Your mileage may vary and all that. I'm not sure how you feel about popular names (I tend to avoid them).

Lila - Pretty, but close to the increasingly popular Lily.
Lucy - This is a love it or hate it kind of name. Nothing wrong with it at all, just not a personal favorite. It is a good classic name.
Sadie - Too nicknamey for my taste
Josephine (Josie) - Love it
Genevieve (Evie) - Love it
Cecelia - Very nice

Adam - classic, solid, a bit "boring" for me though
Erik - Not too bad
Seth - Only OK
Spencer (Spence) - Cute
Theodore (Theo) - Love it
Thomas - Nice

Have fun!

I LOVE Josephine - Josie is just the sweetest! Lila and Lucy are nice.
I also really, really like Adam and Theodore & Thomas - lovely names!
Vincent and Everett are very nice names as well and you can't go wrong using James as a middle name.

You have some very nice names here

My favorite combinations:

Josephine Noelle
Lila Jane

Theodore Vincent but it goes with just about everything!
Adam Thomas but again goes with most of your middle name suggestions except Everett.
Thomas Everett

Have fun!

I love Genevieve..... right now our choice if this baby's a girl is a close tie between Genevieve Elise or Evelyn Elise. Dh also wants to call her Evie Cecelia would be my second choice out of your list and for the boy names I like Seth and Thomas the best.

I Love Lila. I think it's perfectly lovely...
Erik James is my husbands name, so I think it's probably the most perfect name in the world....!

Lila Jane was my girl choice. Since I'm having a boy, I would love to see it in the world.

I like Thomas for a boy. It is declining in popularity which is good in my book. Spence sounds very upscale so depends on what you are looking for. Theo reminds me of Theo Huxtable from the Cosby Show. But I still think it is cute.

I like Genevieve the best - it is the prettiest name there and it has the best nickname.

Your boys names are tougher to choose. I think I'd have to go with Spencer.

Good luck deciding.

I didn't read any of the other responses. : Here's what I think:

Girls
Lila
Lucy
I love it, yet, can't stop thinking of Lucille Ball. Hey Luuuucccccyyy! Not that kids these days will remember that!
Sadie
Definitely my favorite. but I don't like it with any of your middle names. In fact, it seems like a hard one to come up with a middle for!
Josephine (Josie)
Genevieve (Evie)
Cecelia
I like it a lot, but I like just Celia better.
(Josephine & Genevieve are family names if that makes any difference)

Boys
Adam
Love this name! We'd use it, but it's my brother's name and we don't want to use any names for family members that close.
Erik
Seth
Spencer (Spence)
I like Spencer, but not Spence.
Theodore (Theo)
Thomas

We have a bunch of middle names that we like (Ann, Grace, Ella, Belle, Jane, Noelle & James, John, Vincent, Everett, Henri) depending on which names we select for first names.

-Sarah : mom to DD (4/05) : and DS (3/07) : Urban homesteading in Eastern Iowa
and : for a new little one in 2010!

Genevieve certainly, was on our list of girl names 'til we found we are having a boy. I love Evie as a nickname.

Sadie is a close second.

For boys, either Theodore or Spencer.

Lila - I like this one. It seems very feminine
Lucy - I can't use this name, but I met a little girl named this and thought it was cute. Not sure what I would think if it was an adult with this name.
Sadie - I think it is OK, but not a favorite.
Josephine (Josie) - I've met 2 little girls under age 1 with this name. Becoming more popular.
Genevieve (Evie) - Might be hard to spell when she first learns her name, but I like it.
Cecelia -Not my favorite, but cute.

Adam - Not my fav.
Erik - I like it. I haven't heard of too many boys with this name lately.
Seth - I like this one.
Spencer (Spence) - Another good choice. Not too popular.
Theodore (Theo) - Makes me think of the Cosby show, but you kid's friends won't know what I'm talking about.
Thomas -This is on our list as either a first or middle name.

Michelle: wife to J, mom to M (2001), E (2003), C (2005), S (2007) and O! (2009) And someone new in 2011!
