I have some raw goat milk whey that I've had for a month now, and I'm wondering if it's still good. How long does it usually last?

It's my understanding that whey will keep for 6 months in the fridge. We use it up much faster than that in our kitchen, so I've never tested that theory.

I blog traditional foods and Weston A Price at Nourished Kitchen. See my healthy recipes.

Hi, I know this is an old thread but I was hoping I could ask what exactly does happen when it goes bad? I don't remember how long my whey has been in the fridge but it's getting on a few months now. It was a very strong smelling whey to begin with. It doesn't smell any worse but there is some cloudiness in the bottle. I don't use it very often but like to have it for when I need it...

Thanks!
