I'm interested in this, too.

Mine got a chip through the enamel in the very bottom of the removable liner so I stopped using it. Then I researched new ones and got scared about the lead in the enamel.

The last few years, I have just used my dutch oven and cooked in the oven, but whew it's hot right now and I'd rather not use the oven for long periods of time. Maybe I should just look into a solar oven

oh, and I made some coconut milk ice cream last night that is my favorite so far. I actually like the coconut flavor and like it plain or with honey BUT sometimes I want a non-coconutty flavor. Last night I harvested a lot of mint from the garden and used the blentec to really blend it up with coconut milk and water. I made a custard base which gave the ice cream a great texture.

The recipe I found online was thai and didn't have any sweetener, but I added a mix of xylitol, stevia, and rapadura (no measurements...just sprinkled some into the hot 'milk'). It turned out so yummy. Complex and barely sweet and not coconutty. The 'greenness' from the mint gives it an earthy flavor that reminds me a little of green tea ice cream.

I have a lot of basil, too, so I might go that route next.
