I was thinking about my sourdough starters, and how I've managed to kill at least 2 of them by forgetting to feed them. I think if I named it, I'd have an easier time remembering to feed it.

Any ideas? What's a good name for a flour and water mixture bubbling away with live yeasts?

Or maybe just "Punky" for short!

I like it!!

I fed Punky this morning so I don't have to feed her again now.

Cedric makes me think of Cedric Diggory (character in Harry Potter who got killed by Lord Voldemort.) I'm not going to name my starter after somebody who died so young!
