The kids and I love cereal and I never knew all the bad stuff that happens to the grains in even the seemingly healthy cereal. Has anyone tried the cereal recipe in EFLF? The only ingredient I can't find is maple flavoring.....
Does anyone have another good cereal recipe? Is there 'any' good packaged cereals out there that have not been processed the way most cereals have?
TIA

I don't use the maple flavoring in the EFLF recipe. We like the cereal, though it is a lot of work and I prefer the various granola recipes to it. Don't know if there are any packaged cereals. Maybe Ezekial's cereal?

Okay, I'll try it then. Thank you!! I didn't want to use all those ingredients and then it not turn out!!! It does seem like a lot of work and I'm sure we'll go through it pretty quick but it's worth a try for those days we need to get breakfast done quick!!

I'm trying to remember...I think I might have made that one once. It tastes kinda like GrapeNuts. I'll be trying more cereal recipes soon though!
I'd also like to try sprouting and dehydrating buckwheat, I've heard it's good too.
