Hi, I'm Tara, 32 and, as seems rather endemic here, NT-lite
I try to be better, really I do. Actually, but for a few too many indulgences, I eat fairly well NT. Lots of fermented dairy, pastured meat, soaked beans and nuts. Some fermented veggies, trying to up my intake of that. I haven't been quite as good about soaking grains, but I'm getting better. I am really chagrined to admit, though, that I have not been able to get my daughters to follow my dietary lead. Alas, between my own sweet tooth and their daddy's utterly crappy diet, they know all too well what they *want*, and how that relates to what I try to feed them... On average, they eat a really good diet - lots of high quality meats, vegetables, yogurt. But, they won't touch fermented foods, they don't care for raw, or even pasteurized, plain yogurt, they want it flavored (and adding preserves doesn't cut it...) So, it's a struggle. But, we've been slowly improving.
