So we got raw goat milk. Yay! I had dd and dh taste it last night. Each had about a half cup so 4 ounces. Dh was complaining right before bed that he had a stomach ache. Dd woke up in the middle of the night screaming that her tummy hurt. Both normally have cow's milk so this should not be an intolerance thing. It might not even be related. But I am wondering if goat milk is harder on the digestive system than cow's milk? Neither ate anything else unusual that day. I did not have any yesterday but I did drink about 4 ounces of a different batch at the farm (straight from the goat) on Monday and had no ill effects. The stuff we have at home has been frozen and thawed. Would that change it?

Goat milk should be easier to digest, but it is possible it was a bad batch. The freezing wouldn't have affected it.

It's possible to be allergic or intolerant to goat's milk, even if cow's milk is well tolerated.
