I've fairly recently given up meat (and mostly for health reasons) . So I don't really find the idea of eating meat as gross as some people do. (If I think enough about it, I do...)

But that was just nasty. If anything it makes the idea of meat even less appealing. I suppose it was creative, but what was the point? I actually think it looked kind of stupid. Was it supposed to be eaten or something? Blech

That has got to be a health hazard. How could they know all the meat was cooked properly, with so many different types in the one dish? Eeew.

1) That is a heart attack on a plate.
2) Why post that in this forum? I'm genuinely curious. :

I don't see what's offensive. Can't say I'd eat it, though.

That is seriously odd. I'm not veggie, but I fail to see the point.

I don't come here anymore. MDC has become overgrown with ads & useless extra forums.

Wouldn't even be that hard to make that out of non-meat products - seitan for the inside of the boat, frosting for the ocean, dough (same) for the boat, pretzals for the masts, phyllo or some such for the sails, and maybe vegan marshmallows for the pirates? Or chocolate dipped fruit with little faces - oh, those little spuds! That's it.

My partner eats meat (I follow a vegan diet), so I'm not grossed out by meat. Between my dog and my partner - I handle/see it daily.

However, this is gross. I am especially grossed out about the blue dye. There is no way you could even pay me to eat that!

Yuck! when i worked in childcare we had a cook that used to do "creative" things with the food. she one dyed meat, it was horrible. I ended up leaving partially because of her, i used to complain about the food, and refuse to serve it. She was the bosses wife so it did not go down well but neither did her food

I find that to be a really poor representation. Then again perhaps I'm judging to harshly.

Mom of a 7 yr old, 4 yr old, and 1 yr old. Wow. How did that happen?
