I'm looking for easy and quick recipes using seitan. Do you have any favorites?
TIA

Fry it with peppers and leeks (or onions) and make fajitas

Fry it- add bbq sauce and serve on a bun or tortilla

cut up small add to a stir fry or fried rice

these are the quicky stand-bys at our home!!!

seitan makes the best philly cheese steak... fry it with peppers and onions and your favorite "steak" sauce (i use veggie worcestershire sauce), melt mozarella cheese on top, and put on a toasted hoagie/sub roll.

I'll douse it with bbq sauce, maybe add half a sliced onion and broil it for a short amount of time.

Thanks for all the great ideas! It turns out I ordered a case of multi-grain tempeh, not seitan

I had both in my order but deleted the seitan. Next month I'll need to order seitan. I've looked online and it looks as though I can do some of the same things w/tempeh as seitan.

I've been veggie over twenty years and have tried neither. I'm excited about trying your ideas.
Thanks again.
