I've always been a milk drinker, like I crave a glass of milk, but after reading what the diary cows must go thru in order for us to get the milk, it saddened me that I was contributing to the problem.
So I bought some rice milk and really liked it. Which is good because I never cared for soymilk.

I don't like sweetened drinks so I prefer unsweetened soymilk myself. Tried hemp milk but I didn't like it at all. It's hard to find the other ones (rice, almond) unsweetened.

There were a few years I made my own soymilk from soybeans and water, but I found I never drank enough to justify making a whole batch so I gave my soymilk maker to a friend.

I think it's wonderful how many choices there are nowadays, even in regular supermarkets. What a change from 20 years ago.

I bought original Rice milk and really like it. I never liked the vanilla flavored milks, they were too sweet.

We really like brown rice milk. I think the brand is Rysa or something like that.

I like a bunch of different kinds.

My favorites currently are the coconut milk in the fridge and the Trader Joes multi-grain rice milk. The TJ one has this delicious oatmeal cookie kind of thing going. It has an awesome aftertaste!

I just wanted to throw out as another dairy fiend (I really crave milk a lot). There are many more sources of cows milk that are raw/organic and the cows (mother and baby) don't suffer for it. It might be harder to find but it is out there and it is delicious. Lots of farms now actually keep the baby with mama and only milk the cow after baby is done nursing. Let me correct that, small farms, CAFOs will never do that and I can't really drink that milk anymore, it is too depressing and horrible after someone sent me a video to watch one day.
