I remember my mother buying a bag of gluten to add to

her bread making. She used to say it was additional protein, a positive...

Now, I keep hearing people say that it is best to be gluten free.

So, can you please tell my the benefits of going

gluten free, no wheat in your diet ?

Also, if you are a vegetarian, and you also avoid gluten,

wheat, what are you eating?

I am trying to find the healthiest way

to lower my estrogen exposure, in your

opinion what should I avoid, what should I eat ?

Some people have a disease called Celiac Disease that means that when they eat gluten, the small hairs, called cilia, in their intestines which absorb vitamins and minerals, shrivel and drop off. So eating gluten results in horrible stomach problems and then long term nutrition problems.most people do not have Celiac disease. Other people find their digestion is better when they dont eat gluten. Or that they have a different health issue that is not as bad when they refrain from gluten.

Most vegans eat gluten. I've been vegan for 10+ years and I eat it. My mother has CD but I've been tested and don't have it.
