We really love my son's pediatrician, but today when we mentioned we were going to raise him a vegetarian (after he kept mentioning introducing meat to him) it was obvious he didn't know much about the subject. We are really going to raise him mostly vegan but were afraid to mention that! It would be so lovely to not only feel supported in this decision, but to find a doctor who is knowledgeable and encouraging about our son's plant-based diet. Even though we've read all the vegan books, we are a little scared about doing it right--especially if he turns out to be picky, which many kids are. For instance if he ends up hating tofu, avocados, beans, etc. we want to know what to do!
Thanks in advance for any recommendations!
